When you submit a booking request, contact form, or correspond with us by email, you voluntarily provide:

• Event details (event type, date, city, guest count, set duration, budget range, music preferences, special requirements)

• Any additional message content you submit

Information collected automatically

When you visit aceofbangs.com, our hosting provider and analytics tools may automatically collect limited technical data for security and performance purposes:

• IP address (anonymized where supported)

• Pages viewed and time spent
• Referring website
• General geographic region (city-level, derived from IP)

Information we do not collect

• We do not collect or store payment card numbers on our website. Payment for booked services is processed separately, outside of this site.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

• Respond to your booking inquiry and discuss your event
• Confirm availability, send quotes, and coordinate event logistics
• Provide DJ, live music, MC, and AV production services you have engaged us for
• Send service-related communications (booking confirmations, planning details, day-of logistics)
• Respond to questions, feedback, or post-event correspondence
• Improve our services and website experience
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

3. Performance, Photography, and Recordings

At events where Ace of Bangs is performing, we may capture short audio, video, or photographic content of our DJ booth, equipment setup, and crowd atmosphere for portfolio, marketing, and social media use. We do not identify individual guests by name and we honor reasonable client requests to refrain from filming specific moments, ceremonies, or guests. If you are a booking client and would like a no-content-capture clause included in your event agreement, let us know in advance.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only in limited, necessary circumstances:

• Service providers: We use trusted third-party services to operate aceofbangs.com, including our website host (Netlify) and email delivery (Gmail / Google Workspace via mail forwarding). These providers process limited data on our behalf under their own privacy practices.
• Event vendors: When you book us for an event, we may share limited event details (date, venue, contact name) with collaborating vendors such as venues, planners, photographers, and AV crews, strictly as needed for event execution.
• Legal compliance: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights or safety.
• Business transfer: If Ace of Bangs is sold, merged, or restructured, your information may transfer to the successor entity under this same privacy policy.

5. Cookies & Tracking

aceofbangs.com uses minimal cookies and similar technologies only to:

• Ensure the site functions correctly
• Measure aggregate site usage (page views, popular content) via privacy-respecting analytics
• Protect against spam and abuse via our hosting provider's security features

We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect site functionality.

6. Music & Media Embeds

Our website embeds music and video content from SoundCloud and YouTube. When you interact with these embeds, the respective platforms may collect data per their own privacy policies. We do not control or share data with these platforms beyond what is needed to display the embed.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information:

• The entire site is served over HTTPS with HSTS preload
• Booking form submissions are transmitted encrypted and posted only to our own domain
• Strict Content Security Policy prevents unauthorized scripts
• Anti-spam honeypots and rate limiting protect form submissions
• Email is filtered through Gmail's enterprise-grade security infrastructure

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we use reasonable safeguards, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain booking inquiry information only as long as needed to respond to your request, complete the engagement, and comply with our legal and accounting obligations. Inactive inquiries are typically purged within 24 months. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 10).

9. Children's Privacy

aceofbangs.com is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us at bookings@aceofbangs.com and we will delete it.

10. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Opt out of marketing or promotional communications (we do not currently send these by default)
• Withdraw consent at any time

Texas residents have additional rights under applicable state law. To exercise any of these rights, email bookings@aceofbangs.com and we will respond within 30 days.

11. SMS & Text Messaging

If you opt in to receive SMS messages from Ace of Bangs (see our SMS Opt In / Opt Out page), you can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Your phone number and SMS consent are never shared with third parties for marketing.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Material changes will be noted on the site.
